Why are your quotes lower than the other companies I've called?+
Because you're not paying for our advertising. We don't run ads — nearly all our work comes through word of mouth and referrals, so there's no marketing budget built into your quote. We're family-owned and we never subcontract, so our overhead is a fraction of what the bigger outfits carry. Our rates don't change based on your zip code or your household income, and we don't upsell. If it's possible, we'll do it.
How long have you been doing this?+
Our roots go back to the 1970s, when our family was in the residential home building business — my father ran his own company for decades. In 2010 we pivoted into garage doors, and it has stayed family-run ever since, from the technicians to the office staff.
Do you handle emergencies outside business hours?+
Yes — nights, weekends and holidays. Our office runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, but garage doors don't fail on a schedule, so we answer emergency calls around the clock. If your door is stuck open or unsafe on a Saturday night, call us.
What areas do you cover?+
San Antonio and the surrounding areas — including Alamo Heights, Boerne, Converse, Helotes, Leon Valley, Live Oak, New Braunfels, Schertz, Selma and Universal City. If you're not sure whether you're in range, just call and ask.
How soon can you get someone out to me?+
Usually the same day. Most repairs are quick once we're on site — customers regularly tell us a job they expected to lose an afternoon to took fifteen minutes. If your door is stuck open, unsafe, or you simply can't wait until morning, we run 24/7 emergency service.
Will you try to sell me a new door when mine could be repaired?+
No. We give honest assessments and we don't upsell — if your door can be repaired, we'll repair it and tell you what it needs. If it's possible, we'll do it. A new door is what you get when it's genuinely the right answer, not because it's the bigger invoice.
Who will actually show up at my house?+
One of our own certified technicians — we never subcontract, so it's never a stranger from another company. Our team wears company shirts and drives branded vehicles, so you'll know exactly who's at your door before you open it.
